After a nice meal at one of the Steak Houses on the second floor, I headed for the cloud casino.

The tables were packed except for one $15 dollar table that had my spot open SL1. I bought in for $600. Used the 5 count twice and it hit twice. $15 on PL and $10 odds. When the dice came to me I put my $15 on the PL and took $50 odds. There were people around me yelling out “lets bet on him, he taking good care of the dice, I like betting on people that take care of the dice” After establishing two come bets and hitting one of the come bets I seven out and the group left shaking their heads, one guy said “Taking care of the dice my @$$”. That would normally bother me, but instead I chuckled inside. After the next two shooters the table closed down and I had to move to a $10 table.

I was only able to get SL2 . First two hands I was grinding it out Hit one or two of my come bets and seven out, then SL1 opened up and I moved over to that spot. I did tell the box I moved over one so I am properly rated, maybe a mistake because after 5 hours of play. I checked my comps the next morning and I had only 51 M-Sun points and $5 in comps.

The random rollers were also hot at the table and the 5 count put me on their action. SL2 looked over to me and said “Well it’s about time you are getting in on the action”, he was getting a lot of heat over not hitting the wall, and then a guy came in between us he wanted to make SL2 – SL3. Before I could say “ No! it would be too crowded” SL2 (the hot roller) let him in. I leaned over to the stick-man and whispered “I thought only two people could fit on this side” the stickman responded “Believe it or not 4 people are supposed to fit on that side”, I responded back “ Not today’s Americans, we are definitely wider, look what they did with the seats at Yankee Stadium”, he laughed. The new SL2 ½ slowed up the game and asked for change. The hot roller kept missing the wall and the box man was getting annoyed “Sir!, you have to hit the wall” The hot random roller asked if he could scoot over so he can reach the wall. I said “no problem”, the new guy seemed annoyed, but we both stepped back to let him roll and he hit 2 more points. The new guy was getting upset. “This is bull-$hit, why do we have to move.” I looked at this guy and in my head I was like WTF can’t you see the guy is a hot roller let him do his thing. So after three more rolls the new guy told the box man “Why don’t you say something, I am not moving”, the table was about to riot against this guy and one lady yelled out at the new guy “WTF you are a Don’t Player!!!” , I didn’t notice but the new guy had his bets stacked on the Don’t Pass, so I leaned over to the shooter and offered for him to take my spot. The shooter said “No, I might just pass the dice”, but the table asked him to continue and he made his point and the table cheered and that lady threw the Don’t guy a $5 chip and instructed him to put it in his human piggy bank. The Don’t guy actually put it on his rack and thanked the lady. The hot roller was really struggling to hit that back wall and finally seven out and everyone at the table was blaming the Don’t Player for interrupting his hot roll, calling all sort of names and this woman was verbally castrating him. The dealers were mumbling to each other and said “In my 20 years, I have never seen this”. I did not partake in the name calling because I did not want to not let my emotions affect my game. I remained stoic and tried to focus on my game although I had this don’t guy standing next to me. When the dice came around to me the name calling was still going on against the Don’t Guy, and the lady said “Watch that guy next you…“ , I tried to lighten things up and said while holding the dice “Come on people, without the don’t we would not have Vader, may the force be with me!”, Everyone laughed at the table and even the Don’t guy broke an evil grin. I hit 3 points a couple of repeaters and my rack started to fill-up quickly and the poor Don’t guy was getting killed. He eventually stopped betting against me. By my 6th hand the dice the table thinned out and I was getting tired. I colored out and noticed I doubled my buy-in part was the random roller luck and the other was my throws were doing great with a lot of repeaters especially the 4 and 10. I told the Don’t Player “Good Luck!” and left with my winnings.

401(G) Activity Summary:
• Cloud Casino 5 hour Session : $1,200
• Mohegan Food Comps – $5 (Barely enough to tip for breakfast)
401(G) Expenses:
• Hotel: $65 (Split room with my blackjack player friend)
• Food not comp: $100 (Steak house was great!!)
• Drinks not comp: $60
• Fuel: $20
Lessons Learned: Putting to practice the exact teachings from my October 2016 class maintaining a cool temperament and making proper betting during my visit at the Casino helped me in bringing in my win. I also learned that I still have a long way to go. With my winnings I purchased the download version of SMART craps, imported my dice set roll and did not pass any of the pro-test. I was sort of relieved that the software was not going to blow smoke up my caboose. I like the truth and to know that I have only scratched the surface of this long path where famous dice controllers have walked before me. Maybe I did risk my $600 on above my edge, but with luck, some skill and following a strategy I came out a victor on this journey. In all, I felt this trip was successful in fulfilling its objectives. Just the fact that a don’t player standing next to me did not bother me the least was a quantum leap in my DC career. I have one more trip to AC from Jan. 1st to Jan. 4th then it is all practice until the spring when I take a refresher class with GTC.

-Mr. PiP

Replies:

Posted by: RFink13 on December 29, 2016, 3:50 am

One of the first things you’ll learn: It’s fun to knock out a don’t better. Well neat less to say, I severed-out after my third roll. 😳 I guess I was more involved on shouting him up that I lost mojo. Only because before he got there people were bragging about me. And so now, I try to block people out when I’m shooting. I now look at the dice in the center table until the dice come to me. However, I do glance around to the table to see what see what people are betting on. Once I get paid and place my bets, my eyes go straight to the dice. So far it’s been working out for me. Sometimes I think people think I’m an A-hole. But, I’m really just putting my mine and focus on my techniques. For me, it’s the RELEASE.
