Spread the love

On the last visit to LV ther were one or to items worthy of mention.

During the weekI could lay find a $5 table at one of the closeby casinos where I was staying and the tables weren’t that crowded. I will play at an empty table and guess I actually prefer that. While I limit my time at a table for the week I rolled the dice more often that they were rolled by CFers. I made money on my own rolls for the week but even with qualifying the CFers and therefore not betting on any of them those that I bet on cost me more than what I made onmy own roll.

The above said, I was ata fairly crowded $10 table when AC Cfer had the longest roll I saw all week,a 35.
Two things happened during that roll I want to comment on.

I was betting come bets and I had the dealer with a $1 come bet and everal peopleonmysideofthe table had comebets. Shooter made his point, then through a come out 7 and the dealer failed to take the comebets down.

Normally I will tell the dealers if they make a mistake, but this time it would have cost others beside me if I sai some so I kept quite.I know I subsequently collected onthe come bet before the seven out. Would you have handled it differently?

When we were staying on the strip we walked toaMcDonald to get a biscuit for breakfast and use theirfree WiFi. A craps table off by itself was usually empty and I woul stop and play. Third day there was one player andasi buying onthe stick called me by name and said the table was @$10 but would I prefer to play at$5. I said yes and he told the pit what he was doing and told the shooter it wasa$5 table for him after he completed that point. Tipping does pay!

I think you were right about not tell the dealers about the mistake. If it just effected you, then do whatever (and most of the time I will tell them they made a mistake too…. darn it) . Since you were not the only one effected, it was best you kept it to your self. It’s the house’s responsibility to make the correct payouts. I myself just make sure they pay me correctly.

That tipping was very effective…. and you didn’t even have to ask for that table min change. Nice AP there.

I too have had that experience, actually my last trip a couple of weeks ago. Like you I was surprised that the bet was left as is. This is was not my first time seeing this and I also did not say anything. I always think it’s a "toke" from the dealers! Anyway I feel it’s an insignificant event and as variance goes it all evens out. Enjoy your posts….Misfit 😎 😎
