While practicing, the dice are coming out and my knuckles are facing the target. I have been getting inconsistent results. Should my knuckles be facing the ceiling for my follow through? For this to happen, the throw requires a rotation in my wrist. Is this Ok?

At the conclusion of my throw, the follow thru, my hand and arm have not changed from the beginning position. The back of my hand is pointing at the ceiling and I want the "bird" fingers knuckle pointing generally at the target.

The C grip that you start with should also finish facing down at the end of the throw. The follow through and ending should finish square. One way to check your finish is to leave your hand up at the end of the throw and check your lateral position. It is also good form to allow your arm to finish high (90 degrees) and don’t rush the arm back down. There should be no movement or flicking of the wrist at anytime in the process. This just adds unwanted energy and the dice will come off the wall in a random fashion.
