Should I stay or should I go!

So I’m just curious about this. We learn in class to limit yourself to 3 or 4 turns with the dice during a session. If you walk in and on your first session you have a win, do you walk away or do you stay for the next 2 turns? I know it would also depend on how you feel and energy level, but just considering the win aspect what would you do? I have walked in won and walked out. I have walked in taken 3 turns and a small loss then left. So just curious what others would do.

I play my intended session time unless it goes South or other circumstances change.

I definitely go by how I physically feel and how much energy I have expended on the previous hand. Also, a biggie for me is how many people/how long before I can get the dice back.

I play WAY to long PERIOD so don’t do as I do .
I think my shortest time at a table was when I rolled with Getagrip and a few others .
I am Trying to get better at this . If I went to casino more often I think I would have a better chance at doing better with this problem .
Good Rolling. 😀 🙂

O some times I will say that I need to go to rest room just in hopes that some one will come and roll if nobody is at the table after 5 or 6 turns . I guess that I should leave even tho I LOVE to roll the bones .
I also have been at table were the next person that came to play did not want to roll which does put a little pressure on whether to stay and play .
Good Rolling. 😀 🙂

Follow getagrip’s advice. Base it on how you feel physically and mentally. Of course if the table is crowded and it will take a long time to get the dice back, you probably should not be playing there anyhow. But that would be a definite reason to leave.

A long roll generates a lot of adrenaline in your body. You may not feel it at first but it has an effect on you. A few minutes after the roll is over, it will leave your body and you will definitely be tired. You may not feel it but your body will be affected by it.

So after a long roll, if you don’t feel like you are at peak performance level, you should quit and take a break. Go and do something relaxing.

I just read DoughBoy’s post of his last trip.

There are many good ideas in that post about how to play the game.

Be sure to read it at: Good Results

We usually throw in the teens and 20’s, and early in the morning, when the table is not crowded. By our third turn, the table is frequently filling up, and we go to breakfast. Later in the day and evening, if the table is full, we will play if we get our spots, but we may take only one turn, rather than wait for the dice to come around again.

So, the answer to your question is, it depends. Everything comes into play. How do we feel, the time of day, how long before the dice come around, etc.
